Odds are shown in three formats — Decimal, Fractional, and American. All three express the same result, just presented differently.
Example: Team A's Decimal odds of 2.25 means a ৳200 stake returns a total of ৳450 if you win — that includes ৳250 profit plus your original ৳200 stake. If you lose, you lose ৳200. This is the same as 5/4 in Fractional and +125 in American.
For the favourite: Team B's Decimal odds of 1.25 means a ৳200 stake earns only ৳50 profit, with a total return of ৳250. In American format this shows as -400, meaning you need to stake ৳400 to win ৳100.
In cricket matches (limited overs) there is usually no draw. If Team A is at 1.80 and Team B at 2.00, backing Team B with ৳1,000 returns ৳2,000 if Team B wins (including ৳1,000 profit). Find out more about cricket betting here.
Bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on any market's odds automatically adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip is usually displayed on the side or bottom of the screen. Enter your stake there and the potential return is shown immediately.
Single bet example
If you win, the total return is ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 original stake). If you lose, you lose ৳200.
Multi bet example
In a multi bet, the combined odds are calculated by multiplying all the individual odds: 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79 (rounded). A ৳100 stake returns ৳479 if you win. However, if any single selection is wrong, you lose the entire ৳100 — in a multi bet, every selection must be correct.
You can also play on the betting exchange. BACK means betting that Team A will win. If you BACK Team A with ৳500 at Decimal odds of 2.50 — you win ৳750 profit (before commission) if they win, or lose ৳500 if they don't. LAY means betting that Team A will not win — in that case your liability against the backer's ৳500 stake is ৳750.
Keep in mind — the higher the odds, the greater the potential return, but also the lower the likelihood of that outcome. Betting is for entertainment; do not treat it as a reliable source of income.
